This is the phrase that i having been hearing quite abit lately. Before you even begin to comment on the air or any macbook for that matter i suggest you have at least used a mac before and taken some time experience it (1 -2 days?) before you comment.

Thats the first problem with people commenting on the air have. The second problem is that they compare it to notebooks that are mobile workstations or desktop replacements. No the air is not any other those and does not cater to those kinds of usage.

Now down to specifics

1 USB PORT WTF!?!?!?!? I AM GOING TO DIE IF I DONT HAVE 3 USB PORTS!!!
Solution: use a bluetooth mouse and you have 1 port for your hdd/thumb drive. In case you still are yelling WTF thats still 1 port!!!!! GET A USB HUB, it cost 50 bucks and you have your 4 ports.

OMG THE BATTERY IS NOT REPLACEABLE!!!! OMGGGGG!!!!!
yes. it it true that you cant easily take it out. If your think that you need to take it out when you plug in your computer than you are a noob! that does not do anything to your battery life. If you want to take it out so its even lighter, i would say that its already light damn it. if you need to replace your batt go to the apple store, you need to buy the batt there anyway

no. apple products are not alot more expensive than anything else out there. the sony carbon fiber laptop is 5k, so do your research before you yell.

OMG NO CD ROM DRIVE!!!!!!
yes. it doesnt have a cdrom drive like many of the slim laptops out there. if you really need 1, then buy one! i have one but i only used it twice in 6months. apple has created a program that enables you to share cd rom drives with the air. i dont see any other brands having that function.
