iPhone launch in Singapore on 22nd Aug!

Oh wow what a surprise!

It is out sooner than expected!

But i predict the price would be hefty.

I predict

$600 for an iPhone 3G 8Gb with Plan

and

$800 for an iPhone 3G 16Gb with Plan

due to 4 reasons.

  1. Singtel has paid a hefty price to carry this phone early
  2. They are the current monopoly for getting the iPhone
  3. There is no black market for the iPhone 3G
  4. People are crazy enough to pay anything for an iPhone
