I would like to check how hotspot works.

For example, I’m outside now with a laptop. Do I connect my IP4 to my laptop via USB cable?
Turn on 3G, Cellular Data and Hotspot.
Then my laptop will have internet access?

That is weird! Mine has disappeared as well!

Are you using the latest ios? At least there is personal hotspot now that is way better than tethering. use that
