Singapore public holidays are inaccurate if you subscribe to the apple Singapore holidays. Link below from mozilla is accurate .
Also i realised that knowing when SMU has its holiday is very important for us students as we can plan to travel, mug, book GSRs in advance??? Anyway, enjoy! The following can only be used by iCal on a mac. I think you can import them into sunbird or lightning for windows

Added dates for new BOSS bidding schedule for Term 1 and 2 for year 2008-2009.
If you set your iCal to auto refresh from my site then you do not need to do anything to update the dates. You can manually update it by selecting refresh on that subscription
Notes
I have added some important dates according to the pdf given by the school. I noted start/end of bidding for boss 1/2/3, when results will be released, application for double degree for term 2.
Please note that the dates are according to the document sent by the school and i do not guarantee that they are 100% accurate as entering them one by one into ical is painstaking.

Using the 1.3b5 version of adium, all connection issues with using adium in SMU seems to have been solved. i am not sure if this is caused by the new OSX updates or something done internally on SMU's side but adium can be run without any tweaks or hacks in SMU!
I will confirm this when there is heavier network usage in school in the next few months.

Way cool day for me at least. I visited Apple Singapore for the first time!
Externally it was nothing to cry about but internally it was rather cool!
Lots of renovation going on but cool people + some cool concepts that i could spot make it something to look out for.
I am tempted to apply for an internship there next year.
If working for apple can give me half the satisfaction i have when i work with my Macbook
then i think thats the place i belong
